On Tuesday of last week, John Albaugh of Loudon Township, met with a violent death by being kicked by a horse in the breast, near the heart. The horse had a reputation for kicking, and had only been in the possession of Mr. Albaugh a few days. On the morning of the accident, Mr. Albaugh had gone to the barn to do his feeding, but staying longer than usual, his wife went to the barn and found him lying in rear of the horse in an unconscious condition. He only drew a few breaths after being discovered. The deceased was about 50 years of age, and leaves a family. He was kind hearted and industrious.
