DECATUR -Mrs. Raymond E. (Betty J. Frakes) Brennan, 56, of Decatur died 3:39
p.m. Tuesday (May 14, 1991) in St. Mary's Hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral
Home with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Graceland
Cemetery. Memorials: American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Brennan was born in Vandalia on May 18, 1934, daughter of Charles and
Edna Engle Frakes. She did home healthcare for Decatur Memorial Hospital and
was formerly employed by General Electric. She married Raymond E. Brennan on
July 3, 1953.
Surviving are her husband; daughter, Mrs. Larry (Patricia) Hicks of
Evansville, Ind.; son and daughter-in-law, Raymond E. Jr. and Cindy Brennan of
Nashville, Tenn.; sisters, Flossie Rager and Doris Danbury, both of Decatur;
brother, William Frakes of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren, Adam Hicks,
Brennan Hicks and Lindsay Brennan.
Her parents, nine brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
