Funeral services for Lora Etta Lady, 80, of Fairfield and formerly of Colorado City, were scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Roenfeldt officiating. Burial was in Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home, Inc.

Mrs. Lady died March 18, 1995 in a Fairfield hospital. She was born April 5, 1914 in Camp Springs, Texas. She married William Carlton Lady on November 6, 1938 in Colorado City. He died April 20, 1961. Mrs. Lady had been a resident of Colorado City since 1938. She was a homemaker and a seamstress and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Colorado City.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Lady of Arlington; three, daughters, Josephine Simmons of Houston, Lorelei Ritchey of Fairview and Anita Robertson of Kingwood; two sisters, Stella Jones of Snyder and Eula Ragg of Rotan; one brother and sister-in-law, Clovis and Fay Strickland of Colorado; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
