Family Note: The family believes this man was Delbert, not Hubert. All census records call him Delbert.

Hubert Hoffman

Funeral services will be held for Hubert (Bert) Hoffman. Wednesday at 9:30 at St. James Catholic Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery.

Rev. Father L. J. La Voile will officiate with Wiltgen-Luedtke in charge of arrangements. Mr. Hoffman died very suddenly at his home of a heart attack , last Saturday.

Mr. Hoffman was born in Plymouth County on November 9, 1882 and farmed in Fredonia Township near Seney for 25 years. He lived in Union Township since early February, but lived in Plymouth County his entire life. He married Mary Ellen Faust January 10. 1905 at Merrill.

Survivors Include the widow; five sons, Delbert, Bernard, Maynard, Cleo and Charles all of Le Mars; four daughters, Mrs. Vernon Morehead (Winifred) of Orange City; Mrs.
Ralph Heyl (Margaret). Mrs. Leroy Welter (Rose) and Mrs. Joe Lewis (Neva) of Le Mars; thirty four grandchildren and thirteen great grand children.

The deceased was preceded in death by three sons; John who was killed in Montana at the age of 38 years, and Edward and James who died in infancy; his parents, 6 brothers and one sister. Mr. Hoffman was the last of his family.
