Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Kathleen Lawson, 46, of Jackson County, were conducted Monday, June 18, 2007, from the chapel of Rickman-Hall Funeral Home in Rickman with Bro. Bud Hargis officiating. Burial was in Lawson Cemetery in Jackson County.
Mrs. Lawson died Wednesday, June 13 at Livingston Regional Hospital.
Born May 26, 1961, in Lebanon, OH, she was the daughter of the late Palo and Lois (Nichols) Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Ray Lawson Jr; and 2 brothers, Paul Brown and Billy Brown.
Survivors include a son, John Lawson III; 5 daughters and 3 sons-in-law, Bertha and Scott Murphy, Lois and Nicholas Rameriez, and Amanda Lawson, all of Gainesboro, Amber and Brian Smith of Mississippi, and Sandy Lawson of Louisiana; a brother, Steve Brown of Ohio; 4 sisters, Linda Key and Emma Brown, both of Celina, Fran Helton of Florida, and Laura Brown of Gainesboro; and 14 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Blevins, Adam Blevins, Mark Blevins, John R. Lawson III, Steve Brown, T.J. Smith, Casey Blythe, and Donald Edmonds.
