Steve was the son of Palo and Lois Nichols Brown, both from Tennessee. Born in Dayton, Ohio. At an early age they moved to Oregonia, Ohio and it's where Steve spent his growing years. Steve was a brick mason by trade. Steve built homes and buildings that will stand for hundreds of years to come. Steve had a perfect plumb eye for his work and was a perfectionist at it. He loved being outside in the sunshine and took advantage of it whenever he got a chance. He had huge knowledge of all things in nature. Steve picked up a rock everywhere he roamed. And had a huge collection. Some would fit in your hand, while others needed a truck move. Steve loved hunting and fishing at an early age. He loved to explore. Drive fast and make people laugh. Steve was a good prankster and could keep a straight face. He was a great story teller and had hundreds and hundreds of stories to tell of his life. Steve was a good son, brother, husband, dad, grandpa and friend. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone that needed it. Steve was a good man. He is loved by many and will be missed until the end of time.

Gravesite Details

Steve's ashes were lovingly released by Beth Brown in the Little Miami River, Oregonia, Ohio. From the old bridge that he walked, climbed and jumped from in his years of life. Happy journey, my brother. Free, to feel the rush of the river once more.
