RACINE - Mr. Hebert T. Kinkade, 77, passed away at his home on Monday, June 18, 2001. He was born in Hartford, Ky. on January 31, 1924, to H.W. and Bonnie Kinkade and had been a resident of Racine since 1947. On May 28, 1960, in Waukegan, Ill., he was united in marriage to Mildred. He served in the Navy during World War II from 1943 until 1946. He was employed at the United States Post Office, retiring in 1986. Surviving are his wife, Mildred; daughters, Dawn (Leo) Kinkade of Cincinnati, Ohio and Kimberly (Robert) Shore of Racine; sons, James (Denise) Lozano of Leesburg, Va., Scott (Janice) Kinkade of Hubertus, and Richard (Nancy) Kinkade of Racine; 10 grandchildren; sister, Hazel (Paul) Smith of Kentucky; brothers, Dewey Kinkade of Kentucky and Denzil (Goldie) Kinkade of Kentucky; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother. Funeral services will be held at Strouf-Kniewel Funeral Home on Thursday, June 21, 2001, at 8 p.m. Private burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery.
