MORGANTOWN — Denzil Dean Kinkade, 78, of Morgantown, died Aug. 5, 2011, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The Butler County native was born March 26, 1933. He was retired from Kellwood after 27 years and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. In 2010, the Green River Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution honored him for his service to his country. He was a son of the late Westerfield and Bonnie Russ Kinkade. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert and James Kinkade; three sisters, Hazel Smith, Gussie Phelps and Onie Bell Kinkade; a grandson, Adam White; two stepdaughters, Diann Cardwell and Bernice Simmons; a stepgrandson, Kurt Cardwell; and a great-stepgrandson, Brian Keith Cardwell Jr.

Funeral is at 2 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home, with burial in Youngtown Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and begins at 8 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Goldie Earline Kinkade; a son, Dennis Phil Kinkade and his wife, Teresa, of Morgantown; a daughter, Pat Lynn White of Morgantown; a granddaughter, Taylor Kinkade of Morgantown; a grandson, Drake Kinkade of Morgantown; three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Mercedes and Shane White of Morgantown; a brother, Dewey Kinkade of Paducah; nine stepgrandchildren; and several great-stepgrandchildren.
