Miss Frances Freeman.

Miss Frances Freeman, a life-time resident of Hopewell township, completed life's journey on Monday, December 29th, at the age of 88 years, 10 months and 2 days.
Death was due to the infirmities of age, the final illness being seven weeks in length, all of which time she was bedfast.
Miss Freeman was born in Hopewell township on February 27, 1836, to Elisha and Sarah Freeman.
Growing to young ladyhood she received her education in the district of Hopewell township and later taught school in that vicinity.
The deceased spent the days of her youth in the parental home and continued to live there after the passing of her parents, making a home for her brother Spencer.
Although not a member of any church, she spent many hours reading her Bible. She found her joy and pleasure in her home with her brother and there led a simple and quiet life.
Funeral services were held this morning at ten o'clock from her late home and interment made in the Harris cemetery near Lacon.
