A Good Woman Called.
Mrs. Scott Miller, mother of Mitchell Miller, died at the family residence in Hopewell on last Sunday. Mrs. Miller was 75 years of age and had been a resident of that township for many years, coming to this section of Illinois from North Carolina, her native state. Her demise was due to old age. She is survived by seven children – four sons and three daughters. Mrs. Miller was a worthy and most excellent lady, highly esteemed by all who knew her. The funeral occurred last Tuesday, the mortal remains being laid beside those of her husband in the Harris cemetery, north of the residence of Ed. Lane.
