Funeral services for Lester Roup, a former resident of Lisbon and father of Mrs. Homer Emerson, were to be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Clinton with interment in DeWitt.
Mr. Roup died Monday morning after a long illness. He had been an employee of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad prior to his retirement. Survivors include two sons, Robert of Clinton and Melvin of Cedar Rapids, and two daughters, Mrs. Emerson and Mrs. Don Wilson, both of Cedar Rapids. Mrs. Roup died two years ago.
The Emersons lived in Mt.Vernon before moving to Cedar Rapids a few years ago.
