Mrs. Peters was the widow of Samuel Peters who died 36 years ago. She was born March 3, 1873, at Edna Mills, Ind., the daughter of James and Lavina Wetzel. She had lived in the Center community 41 years. In early life she lived near Mulberry and was a member of the Fair Haven Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lavina Shutt of Kokomo and Mrs. Lillie Dunlap of Center; 15 grand-children, and 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Oliver Wetzel of Mulberry, and four sisters, Mrs. Lavina Sharp of Falls City, Neb; Mrs. Alice Yundt of Mulberry, Mrs. Anna Sibray and Mrs. Nellie Primmer, both of Frankfort. a daughter, Bertha Fowler died 12 years ago, and two brothers and one sister are deceased.
Burial will be Friday at Fair Haven cemetery near Mulberry, Ind.
