HARMEIER, Betty Jean – Age 60, died Tuesday, October 27, 1987, at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Friday, October 30, 1987, at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd., Rev. T.W. Chenoweth officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association.
Mrs. Harmeier was born in Flint, Michigan, July 16, 1927, and had lived in the Flint area most of her life. She was a member of the UAW Local 651. Mrs. Harmeier had worked at AC Spark Plug Division in the Speedometer Room for 33 years, retiring in 1979.
Surviving are: son, David Harmeier of Flint; 3 daughters, Mrs. James (Robin) Ross of Flint, Bethany Harmeier of Flint and Stephanie Harmeier-Dunham of Toronto; 3 grand-children, Goldie, David, and Jimmy, all of Flint; 1 sister; 4 brothers; many nieces and nephews.
