Isaac Anderson Brown son of Elijah Brown and Mary Elizabeth Glass Brown.

Isaac was married twice, his first wife was Eunice Beasley, they married on April 14, 1835 in Browntown, Vermillion County, Indiana. she is buried in Brown Family Cemetery, Indiana.
Elijah and Eunice were parents of 6 children:
1. Julia Ann Brown, married Jacob Graham
2. Elijah Brown
3. Joseph B. Brown
4. Milo Geoggeone Brown
5. Elizabeth Jane Brown, never married
6. Phoebe Eliza Brown

2nd wife, was Cordelia Ann White, they married on July 26, 1849 in Covington, Fountain County, Indiana. She was born in Ohio and buried at Forest Hill Cemetery, Putman County, Indiana.

Elijah and Cordelia Ann were the parents of 9 children:

2. Eunice E. Brown
3. Hannah Marie Brown
4. Lelia "Lilly" Grace Brown

Isaac Anderson Brown was a Missionary Baptist Minister, he rode a circuit of remote country churches. He also had a Cooper business, his business thrived and the market for barrels and kegs seemed insatiable and besides the steady stream of barrels to Eugene there were also giant loads of them hauled by horses and wagons to Chicago.

Isaac A. Brown - who formerly resided at Browntown, Eugene Twp., 4 miles west of Eugene, died suddenly at Grape Creek, Illinois, 1 day last week, where he moved less than a year ago. The deceases was born in Tennessee in 1816 and had been a resident of this County since 1833. He was a Missionary Baptist and a staunch Republican. At the time of his death, he weighed over 300 pounds.
When he lived in the county, he was a proprietor of a big cooper shop, and in an early day did a big business.
