MRS. LUCY THOMAS

Mrs. Lucy Thomas, age 83, died at the home of her stepson, Earl Thomas, in Shelbyville Sunday evening. Mrs. Thomas had made her home in Shelbina until early this fall when because of ill health and moved to Shelbyville.
She was born April 4, 1864 in Shelby county and had spent her entire life here with the exception of four years spent in Hannibal.
On December 6, 1897 she was married to Charles Thomas who preceded her in death.
Surviving besides her step-son with whom she made her home, is a daughter, Mrs. Velma Williams, of Hannibal.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Shelbina Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. B. L. Holcomb, with burial in the Shelbina I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
