Mrs. Ellen Shacklett.
Mrs. Ellen Shacklett, 80 years of age, died Thursday morning at six o'clock, after a brief illness of about 10 days. She had been a resident of this city for many years, and was a member of the M. E. Church South. Two daughters survive her, Mrs. Henry Jacobs of Cal., and Mrs. Chas. H. Thomas of this city, at whose home she died. Funeral services will take place at the residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W. A. Hanna.

Aged Woman Dies.
Mrs. Ellen G. Shacklett died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chas. H. Thomas, in this city Thursday morning after an illness of about ten days. Funeral services were held at the Thomas residence at 3 o'clock Friday conducted by Rev. W. A. Hanna.
Mrs. Shacklett was born in Marion county, April 6, 1827, and had been a resident of Shelbina for many years. Her husband, Harry Shacklett, died a number of years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Henry Jacobs of California. She was a member of the M. E. Church South.
