THE PARIS NEWS, Oct. 3, 1951, page 4. - 'STANSELL RITES - The funeral of John William Stansell, 24, was arranged for 2 p.m. Thursday at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. James S. Riley of First Baptist Church here.

Named as pallbearers were Gene Walker, Lawrence Mieras, Joe Carter, Bill Baxter, A. E. Pitts, and George May, with burial in Knights of Honor Cemetery at Blossom.

Mr. Stansell, formerly employed in Dumas by the American Zinc Company, died Thursday morning in Lamar General Hospital, where he had been a patient since Saturday. He was the son of Mrs. Betty Stansell, 2640 Bonham St. here.'
