Rose E. Smith Parman, 94, died on Sunday, Nov. 26, 1995 at the Beach Health Care Center of the Sheboygan Retirement Home. Rose was born February 13, 1901 at Six Corners in the Town of Lima, a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Rammer) Ardts. She attended St. George Catholic School. On May 15, 1923 she was united in marriage to James J. Smith, he preceded her in death on May 22, 1952. On Nov. 19, 1959 she was united in marriage to Charles F. Parman and he preceded her in death on August 20, 1972. Rose was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, the Anne Christian Women Society and the Jolly Clavers. Rose is survived by two sons, Donald (Lois) Smith, Sheboygan Falls and Ronald (Carol) Smith, West Bend; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Clara Steger, Sheboygan. Rose was preceded in death by eight sisters and a brother. A funeral service for Rose will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 at the Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Funeral Home, Southside Chapel. Rev. Brian Szyszko, pastor of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
