Mrs. Edmund Krentz, 66, of R. 2, Sheboygan Falls, died Saturday at St. Nicholas Hospital only two hours after she was taken ill. A daughter of the late John and Catherine Ardts, the former Sophia Ardts was born May 14, 1893, on a farm in the Town of Lima. She attended parochial school at Six Corners. On June 8. 1910, she was married to John Clevers who died March 29, 1945. On March 1, 1952, she married Edmund Krentz. Survivors are her husband; one son, Willard Clevers of Sheboygan Falls; a daughter, Mrs, Willard (Clara) Beeck of R. 3, Sheboygan Falls; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, George Ardts of Six Corners, and nine sisters, Mrs Peter (Mary) Haen, Mrs. William (Anna) Lubas, Mrs. Henry (Catherine) Federer and Mrs Thomas (Clara) Steger, of Sheboygan, Mrs. Henry (Emma) Kurscheid, Six Comers, Mrs John (Cecelia) Billmann and Mrs. Louis (Agnes) Billmann, Sheboygan Falls, and Mrs. Edmund (Elizabeth) Meyer of Belgium. One daughter preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dean Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls. Rev. Charles Neu, pastor of St Mary's Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St George Cemetery at Six Corners. The body will lie in state at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
