Born in Westfield. Mr. Bonnetti was a communicant of St. Helen's R.C. Church.
He was a self-employed painter and decorator for 45 years prior to retiring last year.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marie Ricci Bonnetti; two sons, Joseph Jr. of Roseville, Mich., and David J. of Westfield; a daughter, Mrs. Arlene J. Dustin of Winfield; two brothers, Anthony Bonnetti and Salvatore Bonacci, both
of Elizabeth; five sisters, Mr. Josephine Mormello, Mrs. Eleanore Boger, and Mrs. Viola Duelks, all of Westfield, Mrs. Angelina Renna of Waterbury, Conn., and Mrs. Mildred Checcio of Scotch Plains, and four grandchildren. His first wife was the late Mrs. Mary Cascto Bonnetti.
The funeral was held yesterday at the Dooley Colonial Home, 5M Westfield Ave., and at St. Helen's Church where a Funeral Mast was offered by the Rev. Thomas B Meaney pastor.
Interment took place in Fairvlew Cemetery.
