Troutbeck Chapel
It is almost certain that the tomb in the middle of this chapel was erected to the memory of William Troutbeck, Esq., who died in 1436, and Joan his wife, who built the chapel and endowed the chantry, whilst the other on the south side commemorated his grandson, Sr William Troutbeck, Knt., who died in 1459, and Dame Margaret (Stanley) his wife.
