Services for Geraldine D. "Gerry" Cole, 66, Erie, are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gibson Funeral Home, Erie. Burial is in Bethesda Cemetery, Hillsdale. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gibson Funeral Home, Erie. Memorials may be made to Erie Ambulance Service. Mrs. Cole died Friday at home. The former Geraldine Howard was born Sept. 1, 1923, in Lyndon. She married Harry "Pigeon" Cole Jan. 31, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. She retired in 1979 from General Electric Co., Morrison, after 26 1/2 years. She was a member of GEM Club, Morrison.
Survivors include the widow; three grandchildren, Lisa Sheese, Milan, Karen Ziegler, Moline, and Paul Ziegler, stationed with the U.S. Army in Germany; two great-grandchildren; sisters Mary Allice Curry, St. Paul, Minn., and Delores Redell, Erie; and brothers Darrell Howard, Fenton, and Robert Howard, Erie.
