EVANSTON — June Risse Taylor, 64, died at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, at her residence.
A native of Newtonville, she was born July 28,1939, the daughter of the late Drolus and Minnie Katherine (Hempfling) Brown. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Larry Risse; two brothers, Donald and Clifton Brown; and a sister, Fern Brown.
She was married July 27, 1956, to her first husband, Charles Larry Risse. He died March 26, 1996. She married her second husband, Frank Taylor, on Aug. 23, 2003.
She was employed at General Electric in Tell City for 10 years and then worked at the Tell City Chair Co. in Tell City for 22 years.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed playing golf, camping, boating, flower gardening and fishing. She was a NASCAR and Indiana University basketball fan.
