Albert "Big Al" Raffield -WARNER ROBINS - Albert Raffield, 54, entered into rest on Thursday, December 29, 2011 after a courageous battle with Leukemia.

Albert was born on July 5, 1957 in Warner Robins, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith. Most recently, he worked for the City of Warner Robins as an Inventory Specialist in the Public Works Department. A lifelong resident of Warner Robins, he was formerly a Butcher at the Market Basket, Piggly Wiggly, and Winn Dixie, and former Assistant Manager at Walmart on Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins. A proud 1975 graduate of Northside High School, he continued his support of his Alma Mater as an active parent in the Northside High School Theater Booster Club, attended many school functions, and was a member of the "Northside High School HasBeens." Albert's smile, laughter, courage, and love of family and friends is a legacy his family and friends are proud to carry on. He will be missed by all who knew him. His parents, A.J. and Odell Paul Raffield, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Marilyn Vinson Raffield, Warner Robins; children, Steven Raffield (Nicole), Bonaire; Sam Raffield, Valdosta; Spencer Raffield, Roberta; Sisters, Brenda Simpson (Dane), Lake Spivey; Frankie Ross (Mike), Kathleen; grandson, Baxton Williams, Warner Robins; several nieces and nephews; and so many other loving family members and friends.
