Sherman "Jenny" Ahart, 62, of Iberia died Friday, May 20, 1988 at his home. He was born Sept. 8, 1925 in Iberia to John and Sarah Humphrey Ahart.
Surviving him are two sisters, Martha Catron of Iberia and Missouri Hawkins of Dixon; and a brother, Charles Ahart of Crocker.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill McGarity officiating. Burial was in the Jarrett Cemetery.
