Marilyn Lee (Rodecap) Johnson, 54, Meriden, died Monday, December 26, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.

Marilyn was born January 18, 1957 at Topeka, the daughter of Roy Eugene and Helen RoseLea Bell Rodecap.

A lifelong resident of Meriden, she was a 1975 graduate of Jefferson West High School. Marilyn worked as a waitress in several cafe's and restaurants in the Meriden and Topeka area. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter # 399 and the V.F.W. Aux. Unit #10815 both in Meriden.

She was married to Gary L. Johnson on December 4, 1978 at Oskaloosa, he survives at the home.

She is also survived by her mother, Helen R. Rodecap, Topeka, two daughters, Kristy (Doug) Scott, Ozawkie, Misty (Lenny) Meier, Topeka, a step-daughter-in-law, Jodie Johnson, Topeka, two sisters, Betty Ann Anderson, Meriden, Norma Vink, Topeka, and eight grandchildren, Cody Scott, Caitlyn Scott, Wyatt Heuertz, Dillon Heuertz, Chance Liggett, Tristen Johnson, Trevor Johnson, and Addyson Meier.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Eugene Rodecap and a step-son, Gary Alan Johnson.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday at the Meriden United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Meriden Cemetery.
