P.K. Harrell, Celeste Dies
P.K. Harrell, 62, prominent farmer of the Celeste Community died Friday at the home of his daughter in Dallas.
Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of a son from Washington. Arrangements are on chargeof James Coker Peters.
A native of Tennesseee, Mr. Harrell was born in November 1887, the son of Mr. And Mrs. William Harrell. The family came to Texas when he was a child, and he attended school in and around Wolfe City.
He was first married to Margaret Ellen Stanley, and following her death, he was married to Ollie Wooley who also preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Celeste Church of Christ.
Surviving are four children; W.W. Harrell of Celeste, P.K. Harrell, Jr. of Washington, Mrs. Jim White and Mrs. Warren Wilson of Dallas, three brothers, Jim Harrell, Dallas, R.N. Harrell, Wolfe City, and W.T. Harrell, Dallas; two sisters, Miss Fannie Harrell and Miss Irene Harrell, Wolfe City, and four grandchildren.
