Mother: Mable Pearl Ruhl, born in Douglas, Wyoming
A distressing accident occured last evening which resulted in the death of Harriet, 8-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry George. Harriet was in a car driven by her aunt, Miss Lola Ruhl, from the George home downtown. She was sitting next to the car door and as a turn was made on South Fifth Street, the catch of the door apparently became insecure, and she was catapuled into the street. She struck her head on the concrete sidewalk, suffering a fracture of the skull. She was rushed to the Douglas hospital, but her injuries were of such a nature that recovery was impossible. She died at 11 o'clock last night.
Information was obtained from an article in the Douglas Budget, July 5, 1928; cemetery and mortuary records.
