Hill Beaven, 86, of Lebanon, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, Ky. He was born Nov. 10, 1925 in Marion County, Ky. He was a retired employee of the Kentucky Department of Human Resources, a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by: Wife - Tillie Ballard Beaven; Parents-- John G. and Mary Grace Hill Beaven; 1 Brother-- Charles Beaven. Surviving are:
2 Daughters-- Beverly (Jack) Price— Nashville, Tenn. and Jane (Dan) Yeager – Lexington, Ky.; 3 Sons-- Richard (Cathy) Beaven—Lexington, Ky., Walter (Jennifer) Beaven—Louisville, Ky. and Tim (Diane) Beaven – Lexington, Ky.; 3 Brothers-- Jack Beaven – Lebanon, Ky., Mike Beaven – Bowling Green, Ky. and Joe Lee Beaven – Lexington, Ky.; 1 Sister -- Theresa Martin Craig – Lebanon, Ky. Also surviving are 9 Grandchildren and 2 Step- Grandchildren and 1 Great -Granddaughter. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011 at St. Augustine Catholic Church officiated by Rev. Jerry Bell. Interment will be in St. Augustine Church Cemetery. Visitations will be held from 4 to 9 P.M. Monday Dec. 19, 2011 at Bosley Funeral Home, 246 South Proctor Knott Ave., Lebanon, Ky. A prayer service will be held Monday evening at 7:00. Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of contributions to: Hosparus – Hospice of Central Kentucky, P.O box 2149 , Elizabethtown, Ky. 42702-9900 or to Mass of the Air, 508 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville, Ky. 40207-3833.
