Mrs. Clara Patnode
ALTONA-Mrs. Clara Patnode, 94, died at the Clinton County Infirmary at Beekmantown Sunday evening.
She was born at Mooers Forks Oct. 10, 1879, the daughter of Peter and Clara (Hope) Peete.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Rose Gardner of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Ida Surprenant of Mooers Forks and Mrs. Hortense Peryea of Chazy Lake; three sons, William Patnode and Frank Patnode, both of Altona, and Edward Patnode of Massena; 35 grandchildren, and many greatgrandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren.
Calling hours at Leazott Funeral Home here will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Charles Cotter will officiate.
Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery here.
