S. H. Neff, 64, of 1160 Linwood Ave., died at St. Mary's Hospital Thursday at 7:45 a.m. He had been a salesman at Ohio Valley Hardware for 13 years. He belonged to St. Mary's Catholic Church, the St. Vincent dePaul Society and the Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his wife, Henrietta; three daughters, Margaret at home, Mrs. Larry Baron of Richmond, Va., and Mrs. Ralph Weinzapfel of St. Philips; one son, James R. of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one brother, Urban of Evansville; four sisters, Mrs. Anita Dietsch of Evansville, Mrs. Florence Fischer of Mount Vernon, Ind., Mrs. Marie Schenk of Dale, Ind., and Mrs. Tillie Convery of Omaha, Neb.; and 12 grandchildren. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at Miller and Miller Funeral Home, where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday then continued at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Members of St. Mary's parish will conduct memorial services at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
