Mrs. J. F. Black Trenton Woman, 71, Dies in Her Sleep; Funeral Is Set Today
EDGEFIELD, June 4— (Special) — Mrs. Sally Bush Black, 71, wife of James F. Black died as she slept at her home at Trenton sometime Tuesday night or early Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at 5 o'clock Thursday afternoon from Mt. Calvary Lutheran church by the Rev. J. C. Derrick of Columbia and the Rev. J. C. Rice of Trenton. The body will be taken to the church an hour before services. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
Survivors include her husband and the following children: Earl, James, Gilbert, William W., Frances and Thomas H. Black, Mrs. Ralph E. Smith, Mrs. A. K. Brown, Mrs. Marshall McLin and Mrs. Wade Hitch; seven grandchildren four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. J. B. Smith of Trenton and Mrs. J. P. Herlong of Johnston and one brother, W. D. Bush of Knoxville Tenn.
