Services Sunday For Mrs.Gunn
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Seydler-Hill Chapel for Mrs. Idella Denman Gunn, who died Friday at 3 a.m. in a Dallas hospital.
The Rev. Herman Murph, pastor of the First Untied Methodist Church, will officiate at the services with burial to follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mrs. Gunn was born in Gonzales County January 6, 1892, the daughter of Sally and Walter Gunn. She was first married to W.S. Denman who preceded her in death in September, 1942.
A life time member of the Methodist Church, she was later married to Scott Gunn of Houston where she made her home for most of her life. She had taught in the Methodist Sunday school department for some 25 years. Mr. Gunn precede her in death.
Survivors are one son, Dr. W.B. Denman of Gonzales; one daughter, Mrs. Boyd (Doris Ray) Cecil of Dallas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
