"Inez Allen --- Sarah Inez Rhead Allen, age 96, passed away, January 17, 1982 in Salt Lake City of causes incident to age.
"Born September 29, 1885 in Coalville, Utah to Edward H. and Susan Huffman Rhead. Married Frank S. Allen, noted educator, August 11, 1913. Marriage solemnized in the Endowment House by President Joseph F. Smith. Former President of the Utah Women's Legislative Council. Was noted for her artistic flower arrangements. Active member of the LDS Church, serving in the MIA, Relief Society of the Yale Ward. Active member of the Daughter's of the Utah Pioneers.
"Survived by two sons, one daughter, David R. Allen, Frank R. Allen, Mrs. Albert (Leila Allen) Alexander, all Salt Lake City; one brother, Parley Rhead, Price; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
"Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 1982 at 12:00 noon in the Russon Brothers Mortuary Chapel, 255 South 2nd East, where friends may call Wednesday 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery."
