JIPSON, Roger K. LOWELL - Roger K. Jipson, 58, died May 20, 1999, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born in Lowell, April 13, 1941, the son of Raymond and Mary (Sibley) Jipson. Roger enjoyed writing stories, watching television, and listening to music. He loved to socialize and could answer any trivia question. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle man that took care of his mother for the last six years. He is survived by his mother, Mary of Lowell; a brother, George and his wife, Lorraine of Lowell; two sisters, Pauline Richards and her husband, Gerald of Bradley, and Patricia Shorey of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Margaret Jipson of Lowell; a brother-in-law, Donald Smart of Old Town; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Raymond, he was predeceased by a brother, Orris Jipson; and a sister, Joan Smart. Friends may call 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 21, 1999, at Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Ogle officiating. Interment will be in Lowell Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to the grange hall in Lowell after the committal service.
