Delbert Rollins
Delbert Lee Rollins, 78, of Leon, passed away at his home Saturday, May 10, 2008 while surrounded by family and friends. He was a retired employee for the City of Point Pleasant.
He was born March 30, 1930 in Mason County, a son to the late Harvey M. and Scerena (Liz) McDade Rollins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Jesse, Boyd, Charles and Wade Rollins; and three sisters, Esther Hook, Peggy (Rollins) Jordan and Bessie (Wilson) Reinhard.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beatrice (Jordan) Rollins, one daughter, Judy (Roger) Hoschar, and sons, Dale Allen Rollins and Dana Randall Rollins, all of Leon; grandsons, Tony Yester and Ian Eads; great-grandchildren, Kari Yester and Anthony Ray Yester; one brother, Epa Cora) Rollins of Letart; and four sisters, Gladys Hart and Virginia Thomas, both of Leon, and Josephine (Roy) Foose and Janice (Mel) Jenkins of Avon, Ind.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. today at Forest Hills Cemetery in Flatrock with Pastor Jimmy Thornton officiating.
Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is assisting the family.
