Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at Mt. Sherman Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Shaddox officiating. Arrangements are by Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
The daughter of Joseph B. and Jennie Viola (Scroggins) Lackey was born July 11, 1920, at Newton County.
She was a bank teller and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Merel King on Jan. 1, 1990; and a grandchild.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry King, of Kansas City,.Mo. and Larry King, of Dearborn, Mich.; a daughter, Barbara Ann Davis, of Gladstone, Mo.; a sister, LessieAustin, of Wheeler,Texas; brothers, Glen Lackey, of Coos Bay, Ore., Wayne
Lackey, of Palo, Ill., Wendell Lackey, of Modesto, Calif., Preston Lackey,of Jasper and Sanford Lackey, of Jasper; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
