MARION - Thaddeus Roland Lide, 79, died Tuesday at a local hospital. Mr. Lide was a son of the late William Henry and Gertrude Durant Lide of Marion County.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Rose Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Paul O. Batson, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, the former Bessie Allen of Marion; two sons, David Allen Lide of Trenton, NJ and Roland Lide, Jr. of Columbia; two daughters, Miss Pauline Lide of New Orleans, La. and Miss Mary Frances Lide of Greenwood; and two sisters, Miss Louise Lide of Marion and Miss Dorothy Lide of Charlotte, NC.
