Dennis J. Adams, 41, Parkersburg, died of natural causes at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Veterans Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Ritchey presiding. Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. Friday. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery with military graveside rites.
He was born Aug. 4, 1939 in Lawrence County to Garold and Dorothy (Hunt) Adams. He was a construction worker.
He is survived by two children, Kevin and Karen Adams; two step-brothers, Stephen Hutchings, Flora, and Jerry Hutchings, Parkersburg; mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis (Dorothy) Hutchings, Parkersburg.
DENNY WAS ORIGINALLY BURIED AT OAK HILL BUT MOVED WHEN HIS MOTHER, DOROTHY HUTCHINGS WAS MOVED TO CREST HAVEN. I WILL LEAVE HIS MEMORIAL AT OAK HILL WITH A NOTATION HE WAS MOVED TO CREST HAVEN.
