Private family graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Crest Haven Cemetery. Summers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hutchings was born July 9, 1920, in Gibson County, Indiana, to Lessel and Zella (Hoffman) Hunt. She married Dennis Hutchings on December 10, 1971, and he preceded her in death on June 30, 1983.
She was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Eagles auxiliaries.
She is survived by two stepsons, Jerry Hutchings of Parkersburg and Steve Hutchings of Flora; one brother, Noel Hunt of Albuquerque, N.M.; one sister Ruby Pinkstaff of Lawrenceville; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son and four brothers.
