Mason City- Irene Rosella Sexton, 92 of 302 2nd St. N.E. Mason City died Wednesday May 4, 2005 at Good Shepherd Care Center, Mason City.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday May 10, 2005 at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd Street N.E. with Rev. Charles Westendorf officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
Irene Rosella Sexton was born January 1, 1913 in Greene the daughter of Frank and Anna (Albrecht) DeMar. Irene attended the Sacred Heart Academy in Greene. She became a homemaker raising 8 children. Irene loved spending time with her family; family was her life. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, where she was an active member. She enjoyed playing cards, listening to music, and attending her Grandchildren and Great- Grandchildren's school activities.
She is survived by her children, Paul (Beth) Jacobson, of Sturgeon Bay WI, Joy Campbell, of Green Bay, WI, Jerry (Judy) Sexton, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Betty Jean (Pat) Gallagher, of Apple Valley, MN, Melvin (Linda) Sexton, of Mason City, Rick Sexton, of Raleigh, NC, and Ray (Sue) Sexton, of Reston, Virginia, along with many Grandchildren, Great- Grandchilren, and Great -Great Grandchilren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters, one son and two grandsons.
