Death Notice Gonzales Nov. 29, 1888

There were three deaths the latter part of last week. The wife of Mr. Albert Gescheidle; a child of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Hogarth and the infant of Mr Suel McKnight.

Obit-Gonzales Inquirer Dec. 6, 1888

Died, in her home in Gonzales, November 22nd, Mrs. Paulina Elizabeth Gescheidlee, age 31 years, 9 months and 22 days.
Until six or seven months ago the deceased was in the enjoyment of good health. Then she contacted a cold which resulted in the disease with which she died. Her little babe which died about two weeks before, was a sufferer from the same disease. She leaves five children and her husband to mourn her death.
Though a great sufferer, she bore all that as sent on her very patiently. She was grateful to all who came to see her or did anything to relieve her suffering. She loved to hear the word of God, and have friends to talk and pray with her. She was conscious to the last, and after taking leave of each of her family, she died with faith in Christ and the hope of eternal life.
