Services for Billy Bernard Lee, 88, of Edom, Texas, are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday November 19, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Edom with Bro. Greg Lytle officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton. Burial will be in Edom Cemetery, Edom, Texas.

He passed away November 16, 2011 in Tyler, TX.

Mr. Lee was born April 9, 1923 in Lumberton, MS, to Otho Addison and Edna Deborah Ladner Lee.

Bill loved spending time with his family and was very devoted to his local church serving as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Mission Leader and serving on the Building Committee. He was in the construction business for most of his working life, building many churches and commercial buildings. Bill Served his Country as a Navy Sea Bee during WWII as a deep sea diver and constructing airplane hangars. He loved tending to his garden, drawing and whittling wood.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Paul Douglas Lee, sister, Mattie Lou Balzar, brother, John Richard Lee, sister, Ina Mae "Teddie" Tipps.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Lee of Edom, TX; 2 Sons, Donald & Nany Lee of Jacksonville, TX, Jim & Janie Lee of Ridgeland, MS; 3 Daughters: Charlotte Munday of Arlington, TX, Karen & Vincent Giangrosso of Hurst, TX, Melinda & Ernesto Miranda of Dallas, TX. 9 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; a brother, Joie Mark Lee of Edom, TX; a sister, Gladdie Sue McKenzie of Raymond, MS.
