Nadene Evon Warfield Tinker, of Harrison, TN died in her home on Sunday, November 13, 2011.

She was of the Lutheran faith. Nadene graduated from Frederick High School, Class of 1960.

She was employed by the U.S. Department of Energy at Germantown, MD, for 37 years prior to retirement in 1997.

Nadene was active in Kids Inc. (a non-profit organization that assisted disadvantaged youth in the Frederick, MD area).

Nadene was preceded in death by her father, Milton T. Warfield; her mother, Onieda M.K. Warfield; five brothers; and one sister.

Nadene is survived by her husband, John P. Tinker; one son, Michael (Leia) Tinker; four grandchildren: Courtney Evelyn and Philip Wade Tinker and Chasity Marksbury, of Hixson, TN and Ryan Cooper, of Brunswick, MD; numerous nieces and nephews, especially Wayne Warfield, of Hagerstown, MD; one brother, Bernard (Carolyn) Warfield, of Frederick, MD; one sister, Gloria (Peter) Bohacek, of Middletown, MD.

Nadenes wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011, in Chattanooga National Cemetery conducted by Pastor Sam Bollinger.

In lieu of flowers, Nadene wanted friends and family to make a contribution to the Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN.
