Annie J. Jones Fuchs died at the family home on Embargo Creek, west of Del Norte, Saturday morning Feb. 14, 1920, from influenza. Burial was in the Del Norte cemetery Monday afternoon.
Annie was born in Lincoln, Nebraska Sept. 2, 1887, and was 32 years old. On May 20, 1903, she was united in marriage to George Fuchs at Del Norte, Colorado. To this union four children were born, Harley, age 15; Glenn, age 14; Leland, age 12; and Edwin, age 10, who, along with her husband, survive her. Also surviving are her father, Thomas Jones of Denver; her mother, Mrs. Hattie Brown of Laclede, Idaho; three sisters and one brother, also residing in Laclede.
