EDDIE DALE BLANSETT, of Kemah Texas, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the age of 74. He was born on July 5, 1937 in Houston, Mississippi to Lemuel "Hack" Hackney and Ruth Stafford. He was preceded in death by his sister Darlene. Eddie is survived by his loving wife Betty, sons Chris, Gary, Terry, Larry, Kerry, daughters Ann and Sherry, Sister Barbara Jean, Ruth Ann, Linda Faye, brother Frankie Stafford, grandchildren Tiffany, Dylan, Travis, Tyler, Stephanie, Drew, Courtney, Michael, Daniel, Dustin, Jesseca, Cody, Cory, Taylor, Dylan, Chase, Hunter, and great-grandchildren Kyliegh and Lexy. A visitation will begin on Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 5-7:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main Street, League City, Texas 77573. A funeral service will follow on Monday at 11 am at Crowder Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Forest Park east Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
