GRENADA - Dessie "Darlene" Kellum, 55, died Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Grenada Lake Medical Center. She was born on May 26, 1953, to Lemuel Hack and Ruth Purnell Stafford. She was a housewife and a member of the I Am Ministries of Crowder.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Southern Funeral Chapel in Houston with Bro. Chris Owensby officiating. Burial will be at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Howard Kellum of Grenada; one son, Anthony Scott Kellum (Stephanie) of Grenada; one daughter, Tracy Michelle Moore (Phil) of Batesville; six grandchildren, Philip Moore, Hannah Moore, Christian Moore, Kayla Kellum, Ashley Kellum and Lauren Brook Kellum; three sisters, Barbara Jean Carley of Californina, Ruth Ann Keranen and Linda Ferguson, both of Houston; two brothers, Eddie Dale Blansett of Texas and Frankie Stafford of Houston.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
