Mrs. Nancy Watson Elrod, wife of John Elrod, died at her home in the northwestern part of the county last Thursday. She was 67 years of age, having been born in Pulaski County, Kentucky, November 2, 1855.
She was married to John Elrod in 1878. With her husband she came to Converse County in 1917. She was a member of the Baptist church. Besides her husband she is survived by two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were held at the Hofmann chapel Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. B. Milstead. Burial was in Douglas cemetery.
