I first became interested in genealogy as a high school freshman, we had to start a family tree then and great grand parents was a far as we went. Then living in Oregon in the 1970's when the LDS church in Salem built a big new Family History Center. But I soon got distracted with raising a family and building a business. then in 2002 we retired to Branson, Mo and I bought a Family Tree Maker and off I go again. But then I became a tour guide and although it was lot of fun, it left no time to research. Now, here I am in Ocala, Florida completely retired and spend 2-6 hours most days working on my family tree and hopefully soon work on my husbands. You see he is a Harris and I only have info back 3 generations on both sides of my family and can trace them back a lot farther, but cannot connect his family to mine....
