Alice Mae Simonson, 75, of Bayview passed away Friday, January 9, 1981, at Galveston County Memorial Hospital in Texas City.

Ms. Simonson was born August 20, 1905, in Dallas, Texas. She was a member of Grace Gospel Church in Bayview and had been a resident since 1939.

Survivors include her son, Fred Monroe Williams of Texas City; her daughters, Mary Oneia Boyd of Bayview, Lottie Mae DeWitt of San Leon, Billie Marie Denton of Freeport, and Bonnie Marie Thomas of Bacliff; brother, Preston Vinson of Lufkin; sisters, Ottie Goodwin, Gladys Thompson and Hattie Evans all of Wells, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Friends may call Jack Rowe Funeral Home after noon today. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel with T. L. Yarbrough officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson.
